Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser Advertising Design
Project / Advertising Design, WMSE Brief / Create a new mascot for WMSE's annual Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser along with an ad campaign. Solution / Creating a new mascot I targeted MSOE students who were familiar with or interested in the event. Thinking about how most MSOE students enjoy computers, video games, and science fiction, I illustrated an alien cowboy riding an alien chili demon horse that would both reflect these students' interests and the chili event. Copywriting a phrase that says "Taste a Universe of Flavors Before it Gets Wrangled Up", showcasing the 50 chilis that will be present. Using consistency with type, color, and texture, a poster, billboards, digital banner ads, and a homepage for WMSE were created to advertise the event.
